The Bustier

Recently I was looking through my closet for something new to wear for an evening event when I stumbled upon this very cute, strapless bustier from With Jean . I wanted to wear something I could easily strip down to in case there was dancing involved and the indoor temperature required removing layers, but also looks great under a shrunken cardigan. The bustier certainly fit the bill AND I could wear it with my faux leather pants.

I love the idea of the bustier and how it works under a layer or on its own. Here are a few that I found and could easily take you through Spring and Summer.

This faux leather bustier with straps is updated and versatile. You can dress it up with black pants or a skirt, or dress it down with denim jeans.

Here is a bustier if you want a pop of color. You can easily wear this under a black blazer for Winter or a white blazer for Spring/Summer.

Bustiers are great under a blazer or a long coat. I love the look with a baggy trouser or pant.

If you prefer not to expose your arms, this is a great option.

You can also put the look together yourself with a simple button down and a bustier with some detail.
