The Blazer

Fall is here and the weather is getting cooler. While sweaters are an obvious option for handling the drop in temperature, you may want to consider the blazer as an easy add to update your current look. The blazer has been on the scene for quite some time and its popularity continues to grow. It has officially become a great basic to add to your wardrobe for any season. In fact, many of the top designers for Spring/Summer 2023 continued to include a blazer in their runway looks.

Typically a blazer is worn with trousers as a part of a suit, but it can also be worn with a sweater and denim jeans, sneakers for a casual look, or paired with a dress for a super chic look. And whether it's oversized, tweed, , double breasted, or brightly colored, the blazer comes in plenty of styles, materials and colors.

The market is full of options when it comes to blazers so I've listed a few of my current favorites. If you've never worn a blazer casually, you may want to start with the "starter" blazer - slim fitting, single breasted, with a length that hits right at the hip (see Vince option below). After you get more comfortable with the look, you can go for a more relaxed style, such as a longer, double-breasted blazer (Frame option below). Whatever your wardrobe needs, the blazer can easily update any outfit. Click the link to each blazer style (on the bottom row below) on where to purchase. Happy shopping!
